O you who have believed, let not your wealth and your children divert you from remembrance of Allah. And whoever does that - then those are the losers. - Quran:Al-Munafiqun 63:9 (islam)
O you who have believed, do not take as intimates those other than yourselves, for they will not spare you [any] ruin. They wish you would have hardship. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater. We have certainly made clear to you the signs, if you will use reason. - Quran:Ali 'Imran 3:118 (islam)
-Does it mean unbelievers are always bad people?
- What about the Muslims who have friends or partners who are disbelievers?
- Can you have a friend who disbelieves?
- What is the penalty for disregarding this God Command?
Those who take disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do they seek with them honor [through power]? But indeed, honor belongs to Allah entirely. - Quran:An-Nisa 4:139 (islam)
-What is an unbeliever, someone from another religion, someone who believe only on part of the books, someone in another sect of Islam, the apostate, the atheist, all of them?
- What will happen to you if you take a disbeliever as allied?
It is not for the Prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are companions of Hellfire. - Quran:At-Tawbah 9:113 (islam)
-Is there any forgiveness for your brother or your son if they became an apostate?
- Is it Halal to disregard this command?
- If you do so, will you go to Hell?
They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the new moons. Say, "They are measurements of time for the people and for Hajj." And it is not righteousness to enter houses from the back, but righteousness is [in] one who fears Allah. And enter houses from their doors. And fear Allah that you may succeed. - Quran:Al-Baqarah 2:189 (islam)
-Is there any hidden meaning or is it just literal?
- Can a good muslim can use the back door of his house?
- Since the verse talk about the moon just prior to the passage is there a hidden meaning?
There is not upon the blind [any] constraint nor upon the lame constraint nor upon the ill constraint nor upon yourselves when you eat from your [own] houses or the houses of your fathers or the houses of your mothers or the houses of your brothers or the houses of your sisters or the houses of your father's brothers or the houses of your father's sisters or the houses of your mother's brothers or the houses of your mother's sisters or [from houses] whose keys you possess or [from the house] of your friend. There is no blame upon you whether you eat together or separately. But when you enter houses, give greetings of peace upon each other - a greeting from Allah, blessed and good. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses [of ordinance] that you may understand. - Quran:An-Nur 24:61 (islam)
-What is the point of this verse?
- Just to say you can eat with or without friends?
- Can you go to your friends house in their absence and eat whatever you want?
Chapter: To lick and suck the fingers
Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'When you eat, do not wipe your hands till you have licked it, or had it licked by somebody else." - Sahih:Al Bukhari:5456 (islam)
-Who should lick my hands after eating, my nearest neighbor?
- Is it hygienic?
- Who's doing that today?
Chapter: It is recommended to lick one's fingers and wipe the bowl, and to eat a piece of food that is dropped after removing any dirt on it. It is disliked to wipe one's hand before licking it, because of the possibility that the blessing of the food may be in that remaining part. The Sunnah is to eat with three fingers
Ibn 'Abbas reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him.) as saying:
When any one of you eats food he should not wipe his hand until he has licked it or has it licked*. - Sahih:Muslim:2031a (islam)
[77]And when Our messengers, [the angels], came to Lot, he was anguished for them and felt for them great discomfort and said, "This is a trying day."
[78]And his people came hastening to him, and before [this] they had been doing evil deeds. He said, "O my people, these are my daughters; they are purer for you. So fear Allah and do not disgrace me concerning my guests. Is there not among you a man of reason?"
[79]They said, "You have already known that we have not concerning your daughters any claim, and indeed, you know what we want." - Quran:Hud 11:77:79 (islam)
